Pretty sure the carb in my 56 Nomad is acting up again. We put a kit in , but it may need a new float and other things. It's worn out and may be in need of having throttle shafts rebuilt. I was trying to take it up to the Tripple XXX drive in for the TRI-FIVE show but looking it may not happen. Thanks... Rob-RedM

sounds like a piece of cake, I might have a core if yours is really trashed what's the tag number say?
http://www.carburetion.com/ These guys have parts for just about anything. I rebuild carbs myself but they can do it for you. I got parts for my Carter W1s here. Reasonable prices. The website say they are in Auburn but I have never been there. I go the the Kent location. Carbs Unlimited & Performance 18871 East Valley Hwy #A Kent, WA 98032 425-251-0210 Hope this helps.
Hi Paul, The tag is missing off my carb. I haven't taken it off yet, I can get some cast numbers maybe off the body if that will help any. Let me know if you have a core, that is rebuildable , I'll pay you for it. Thanks !
I can do it! or if you want a professional I have used these guys in the past. Not south sound. But they do great work. Joe's Carburetors Inc Category: Auto Repair [Edit] 5516 186th Pl SW Lynnwood, WA 98037 (425) 774-5504
Joe's is one of the best in the business. We used to race roadsters together in the 50's when he got started doing carbs.
