Nice angles, proportions, as a few have said you make it look easy. How many chops have you done? Looks like you have a lot of experience.

Hey guys!!! Thanx to EVERYONE for the kind words!!!

I had to walk away from the car this weekend, I had a big set back last week!!! After working my ass off on the sail panels, yes both of them , I didnt like the way the bottom of the window, above the catwalk, flowed with the rest of the top. Maybe for some it would have been fine, but it really bugged me!!! :(

I had about 10 hours on the passenger side panel , i took it off twice after tacking it down and re rolled it on the E wheel.

So i'm now finishing the passenger side pillars and already felling better about redoing the sail panels from scratch. I dropped the window 1 1/2" and it already looks a million times better!!!

SHIT HAPPENS and i wont settle for it looks OK! :(

Here's some pics of what i had going on!!

Thanx man, im gonna make it work for sure, but it's definitely not as easy as it looks to make it flow PERFECT!

Hey bob, sorry i forgot! it's not an easy piece to make if you dont have a planishing hammer or an E wheel?!?!?!
Go for it, but if you cant , EMS makes that panel.

    It's not my shifter!

HAHA!! Thanx guys!!! Yard sales, Ebay, craigslist.... I have a whole bunch of these!!! Cheap and classic!!! :)

  18. That flows so damn nice, Ian! most 50 window transplants in 53/54 chevies (like mine) are often too heavy in the rear of the roof with too much crown, but goes to show with a little bit of extra attention, you can can make it look flawless. ive saved all the pics for when i re-chop mine. totally appreciate the extra effort in doing this build thread. -Rhys
