I think Dodge bought out all the left over center bumpers or center grills from Ford and used them on the 1970 Coronets.... Yes??....... No??

I remember a car like that when I went to school in Kalamazoo Mi.
He was a local hero, bad boy. Could it be the same one?

I have a 1959 Ranger, 2 dr post. 223 3 on the tree, and a 1959 Wagon. A while back found a guy about 30 minutes from my house that has a whole back lot of edsels, and a garage full of mint ones, from 58's to 60. He used to be the president of the edsel club. Bought all of the one from the back lot for 50 bucks a piece. Sold some that were decent, and parted out the rest. Personally I never had a place in my heart for the 60's until I saw this guys. Mint green, 2 door ht. It is one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen. Gained a new respect for them after I saw that one. I'm in the process of making a mild custom out of my ranger.

  10. Here's my old one. It had a 351M with a mild Isky cam, Edelbrock intake, holley double pumper, etc. backed by a C6 with a B&M shift kit, and a 9" posi. Had tons of fun and very dependable. Sold her to help finance my 27.

There was an elderly gentleman that passed away a couple years ago and he collected edsels . i knew the family and went to look at the cars before the auction . They wanted to sell some of them off because of the shear amount of items at the auction they wanted to reduce some .

I went up and there were two cars that caught my eye , An Edsel Roundup 2 door wagon and a 2dr 50 ford with a flathead . both were rough but saveable ,plus that roundup is like hens teeth . I told them i was interested in a few cars and they said they would call me when the family members came up with a price.

Next thing i knew , a scrap buyer pulled in and they sold 70% of the cars to him for scrap price and he crushed em .

Here is another shot of my 1958 Pacer 2-door. This is probably one of my favorite cars I have owned, everywhere you go you get a thumbs up and people wondering what the hell you are driving.

'59Edsel.... Car sounds good! I like the look of the Y-blocks and all the finned aluminum stuff you can get for them.
