Customs I got tired of running the skirts !

Good Choice, looks sportier (better) WITHOUT the skirts.

 

i see your predicament, some angles it looks good with the skirts and some angles it looks good without. either way it's a nice car.

Love skirts but I must admit your car looks cooler without.

 

I like it with the skirts. Something just doesn't look right without them on coupes. Maybe its just the hubcaps, or the "abnormal" shape the coupes had, but skirts definitely look better.

On sedans, however, I say no skirts all the way. Here are a couple pics of my last Ford from when I ran it without skirts:

 

Looks good either way, looks more custom w/skirts & more hotrod without.
My personal preferance would be with skirts but it's your car & that's what it's all about! (Your personal preferance)

I've always liked shubox's with no skirts...your car is no exception.

My 1st car was a 49 Ford 2 door sedan; 1st thing to go was the skirts on it. Never liked skirts on anything. Yours looks better without them. Do what you want;...it's supposed to be a free country!

If it was mine (and I'd love to have it, that car is way-neat!) I'd leave the skirts off. Checkin' the poll results, looks like the "no-skirts" have the edge so far but that's the neat thing about it: like everybody says, if ya get tired of it this way you can always put 'em back on.
Then when somebody mentions the change just tell 'em you have a pair of matching Fords... one with skirts, one without!

 

I'm a skirt man myself but yours looks great without 'em.
