looks better without the skirts, my 2 cents. i had 2 64 galaxies both ragtops one an xl with the 390 thunderbird engine. i also had an 63 1/2 galaxie which is my favorite galaxie body style. nice looking car by the way.
I think of car skirts the same way i think of girls that wear skirts. Im always looking at a cute girls wearing skirts thinking, "i wonder what shes hiding behind that skirt." So since you have a nice set of wheels you should run it without skirts.
where did this visor come from? I have never seen a Galaxie with one of these. I wonder what it would look like on an unchopped car!

Goozgaz is that bagged or is that a static drop ? that is tits, that is the exact stance I want for my Gal.... if it is please do tell the skinny (info on suspension set up) ... Hey I used your pic to practice something in photoshop, hope you dont mind. was trying to figure out that 70s? kind of paint job. your car has cool panels. just thought Id post the results for the lulz. These are not serious suggestions. (really)
Here's my 63, the roof matches the interior now. It really makes her stand out compared to the full on white.
Send over here to Mississippi I'll drive it like it is. Satin black would screw it up! If any thing pearl white with candy red over pearl white base fender inset .
i got a 64. i think i'm going to do it up a satin navy with a satin gray in the side panel and the roof and satin white for the little spear off the front. shave the side trim, drop it. mines still in the rotten and needing to be welded stage, but it runs pretty good....
My Vote; Leave it alone. The car is perfect as is, if anything I'd paint the roof red to match the int. Lose the wheels in favor of some nice spinner wheel covers. Awsome car.
Here's my take on it,Thunderbird wires with wide whites,blue lower section,silver flake top,bellflower tips and a little squat.
That car was satin red at one point in time... and it was called " The Wanderer" it was logod right behind the front tires..The dash also had some sick pin striping. I have all the history of that car if your interested private message me. take it easy -Chris D.-
