Very Cool BSA! I really want an A60 twin. My Father-in-law's dad (So my grandfather in law??) ran a BSA shop back in the 60's my father in law used to bomb around on a Goldstar! They are the coolest bikes around imo. That is a great bike! Was it a pain in the ass to get it shipped?

To say that is bad-assed would be to understate it.
    Too cool.

Thanks!! I'm ordering up some parts this week, it'll get re-wired, new tires, some adjustments here and there then I'm gonna ride the crap out of it. :)

Yes.. it was a total pain in the ass to get shipped, but mostly because the guy I bought it from was a jackass and hardly gave me any information as far as the shipper and contact information. I basically had to hunt the bike down, and when I did find it, my address, phone number, name, everything was wrong.. but, I got it.. somehow... HAHA..

Congrats on the bike......always wanted a BSA single, there's a saying that goes with them big old singles "you can hear it coming firing at ever lamp post"
A guy local to me has over a hundred old Brit bikes in a barn, you name it he's got it & they're all for sale.

Of course you know what BSA stands for:

As far as the cost goes, it's hard to tell.. we kinda rolled it into the price of the bike, but I reckon around 800-900 bucks. It was trucked right to my door too, I didn't have to go to the docks to pick it up (in Chicago where it eventually landed.)

Anyway.. it's cheaper then sending 'em cross country which is amazing really.. it took about 3 weeks to get here. A very looooong 3 weeks....

Hey 54BOMB, yeah dude it has 2 pipes, but it's a single. It has a twin port head, pretty wacky stuff. Good eye though.

I mean, you're an asshole! HAHA.. I kid, I kid..

    FREAKING awesome man.

I love the old bsa's and nortons..

you can see by looking at them that the americans who tried to make bobbers in the 50's were simply trying to make they harleys look like the factory made british bikes.

I think factory bikes are so ugly except old british bikes before the 60's.

have you seen the norton track racers? they came up with putting triangular gas tanks underneath the backbone of the frame before any of the OCC punks thought of that.

check out the british vintage bike calendars.. i have two of them , they look so cool.

nice bike man. did the shipping cost more than the bike?

DAMN, well color me jealous. That is a beauty of a two-wheeled wonder.

And I'm still looking for cylinders and a crank for my AJS. Some guys have all the luck.

    Have fun with it. :)
