Cleaning a couple of old Offy intakes last weekend, I tried Simple Green and Gunk Engine Brite (regular spray, foamy and Gel). The Simple Green, regular household strength straight out of the spray bottle, cleaned up the really crusty manifolds better/easier than the Gunk products.

if you mist your head with WD-40 your hair will be soft as a babies when you wash it.

found that out when I helped clean a Baja1000 race truck after the races. the chassis is all bare metal, and we cleaned it with WD-40 and scotch brite pads.

try it. the chicks will dig you.

cheese is good for getting grease off your hands.

think about it... it is time for lunch and you scrub your greasy hands with boraxo and a brush, you go inside to make a samich, and end up with a grease stain on your cheese.

I figure grated sharp chedder would be the best.

Cheap, lanolin based hand lotion makes a great cutting/tapping fluid. In addition to being cheaper than stuff like Tap Magic, it does fine on steel or aluminum.

Oven cleaner will remove the adonizing coating off aluminum trim. I hammered out and smoothed out my trim first. Then I sprayed oven cleaner on it and let it set. I then washed it off and used wet/dry fine grit sandpaper with water to smooth out scuffs. I then found out the silver polish wadding as its called at walmart will polish it up better than any aluminum polish I tried. I did that to my trim and it looks new.

Put liquid dishsoap on your hands, add sugar [abrasive] then rinse with water. Works like pumice.

WD40 works good for getting really greasy hands clean without drying them out...

WD40 works good for removing sticky residue from decals, etc...

Brake fluid will kill the weeds growing in the cracks of your driveway...

Cinnamon in the radiator to plug small leaks (so I'm told)...

The acid in tomatoes can clean brass, etc...

SOS pads for cleaning chrome, just don't push too hard. The idea is to get rid of the rust spots, etc...

Bon Ami Clensing powder (or Bar Keepers Friend) will get road grim off windshields so your wipers don't chatter. It also works like fine rubbing compound on Oxidized paint.

Wet the car sprinkle on and scrub, rinse well.

Air-soft BB's in your tires will balance them at speed.

Rubbing alcohol works the same as Rain-X on glass and high end glasses.

Lacquer thinner is the same as brake clean (There is a company that makes dispensers that you can charge with compressed air).
