found this cab... anyone know what it is

    i found this truck cab when i was riding my 50 around by my house. it is free for the taking but has no doors and is surprisinly solid for sitting upside down in a field for years(im guessing its been their for years). can anyone held identify it for me

    1937 ford truck. See my avatar. split window is right and cowl vent and trim line on back.

    Looks like a 35 chevy.

    Rear window is definitely not Ford. I agree, it looks like Chevy to me.

    thanks everyone... im gana go back with my truck and get it on sunday... i figure if nothing else ill use the cowl for a modified down the road.

    and it looks like a 36 chevy... i found some doors up by sacremento if anyone makes trips between here and their, and would like to make a litle gas cash ill go that route.

    Chevy '38 & earlier had a flat one piece windshield. '39 was first split windshield.

    i could be wrong but frome what i remember i think it is flat... and somthing was hanging frome the cab that gives the alosion of a split window in that pic.
     
  10. If there's wood inside the cab it's more than likely a 36 if it's metal inside it's 37 ,38,39.. Although I think cab may have changed in 39 maybe someone will chime in , I had a 37 but I don't have any pics on my Iphone..
