Looking for some advice

Hi guys,
Looking for some advice. I'm having my 1950 Buick Special painted this winter. Was thinking of putting carpet and new door sills in this summer. My question is, should I wait until after the car is painted to do the carpet and door sills or do them before.
Any input would be greatly appreciated

Yep paint car first Thats the way your suppose to do them,

 

Wait till your done painting.
