Anybody here work on old big trucks like Macks and REO?

    Been looking around for some info on them. I've seen some here and there but not alot. Would like to do something with one someday possibly soon. Maybe with an 8v53 Detroit Diesel? Can aybody point me in the right direction or anybody who tinkers with these?

    The old guys used to say, "the only substitute for cubic inches is MORE cubic inches".
    Try an 8 V 92 with an eight speed Road Ranger on one stick.

    Screw the single stick ! Real truck driver want a 5X4 two stick set.

    Try using the HAMB 'search' feature. There's been several
    "big truck" - both "build" and 'also "general info" - threads
    posted.

  8. I'm a cummins guy, my 58 kenworth has a 220 cummins and a 5x4, its a great combination. Detroits are asome, untill you find a hill.
