  1. Nice Bee, but those are Torque Thrusts, not Cragars.

If it is a 60's or even a 70's car, I think they are the coolest rims out there. They look good on anything.

Tell me this doesn't look cool. They were cool in the 70's when I was in high school and everybody had them, and they're cool now. (Not my car by the way, saw it on Ebay).

Love Crager SS wheels, but they just wouldn't look right with white walls...

  7. cool on a muscle car, but that's about it. but i'm a torq thrust man myself. radirs, supremes, all better than the cragar ss in my opinion.

  8. Cragers are sweet, but i prefer them on a drag type thing or even on a muscle car. They have that classic "Dazed and Confused" look about them where old people and children will smile when they see your ride not realizing that you are baked off your ass while peeling out at the stop light en route for another 'sixer.

Probably one of the only wheels other than steelies & dog dish caps that I'd be seen rolling on in this. Got these from my dad, they were on one of his recent purchases and he didn't like them. Thanks Dad!

    damn---that picture is scary

  18. Absolutey not. Not on that car no way. Its like putting a ring in a pigs snout. Sure the ring is all sparkley and cool but it is still just a pig that wearing it.

Steelies and pinners or chrome reverse and pinners. Or if you build a monster out of it then steelies body color and dawg dish hubcape and narrow withes or black walls, or a combination of the two.

its a 4 door so it it either needs to look like I made a mild custom out of my moms car or it needs to be a sleeper.

  23. You asked, so I will tell you that they are. On a car from late 50's to early 70's
    IMHO.

To my mind, Cragar SS's look ok on anything from the
early-and mid-'50's on up and probably best on early-'60's
to early-'70's "muscle car" stuff. I don't usually like
them much on early rods though. My all-time favorite
wheel has got to be American "Torque-Thrusts'.
'Torque-Thrusts' seem to look good on just about
    anything! :)

Back when I was a teen I bought a set of Cragars. Every time I sold or traded off a car I kept the Cragars ! They musta been on 20 different cars !! My favorite wheel of all times ! I run em on my 55 gasser right now. Got the rare hard to find 3.5 front runners....seen em go for 400. right here on hamb classifieds !

I had some on a '74 TA I bought as my first car in '83. Not sure how old they were then, but the chrome was flaking all off and looked like crap. This was in MD, so the winter salt on the roads might have done them in. Maybe the 70's ones were crap like a lot of other things. They looked ok on that car, but I think just the stock wheels actually looked better. I think they look good on 50's-60's, early 70's performance oriented cars. A lot better than some other wheels you see a lot on them.
