Can you ask your friend where he got the licence plate on his Chevy?
It looks like an early Belgian number plate. And I know that back in the days they made Chevrolets here in Antwerp, Belgium. Just curious...

    Thanks

I used Fusor to french the bezels to the fender, 107,000 miles so far and no seams are showing.

Hello Chris. You may be right. He bought the plate years ago at a flee market. No idea where it came from, but He liked the way it looked. It was very well made( it is actually a 2 part plate). I'll try to get a better picture of it next time I see John.

I have to say that Bob Arena's 50 Business coupe hot rod does it for me.

    Look at that dial-in - 13.85 with a 261 Stovebolt 6!!!!

Anyone near LA got a builder for sale???

Do trucks count? I am building another one of these now. Put this one together 15 years ago. One handsome truck.

I know that this is NOT a Chevy. In my opinion, this 4 door Oldsmobile is absolutely gorgeous & is a source of inspiration for my 52 Chevy 4 door.
    .
I know very little about this car & would appreciate any additional info that can be provided. What I do know is that it was built by Gene Winfield & was owned by Jerry Scares.

I love this thread! Very motivational. It's exactly what I needed to get the fire re-lit under my arse to get mine back on the road.

Anyone know of any shops in the Baltimore area that produces the kind of work in this thread? I like to do as much as I can my self but being new to the metal fab and body work type stuff, there is no way i would attempt most of the stuff I see on here. Absolutely gorgeous works of art on here.

I adapted '53 Desoto bumpers ( they cost me an arm and a leg!!!) bought them for $ 700 ,shipping $750,tax etc.$450 as they arrived they were bent and twisted!! but I had to cut them up anyway and shave them ,in the rear I intergated the exhaust ,$400 straihgtning, $2500 rechroming them ( I could have bought another car for that money ,but hey nobody says Kustoms are cheap!!).
I like them alot, they are more beafier then the stock ones.
