Steering Wheel / Dash Picture Thread

    I did a search and didnt have much luck. Lets see some dashes. Custom, stock, stock dashes in custom applications. Also this goes hand and hand, but lets see the steering wheels. Im trying to get some ideas for my 54 chevy lead sled. Thanks a million guys.

    This might not apply to your Chevy ,,nut here's my '27 T ,,Red Leather LeCarra Steering Wheel with polishe hub & horn button w' the classic Ford V-9 engraved into it ,,a complete set of S W Wings Guages and just visable ,,a '50's MOON clock on th far right ,,Flying Eye Ball above the Walnut Panel ,

    54 Olds dash in my 66 chevy C10

    that's what I'm talkin about. Big car dashes. All I seems to fin on here is prewar cars. Great looks but don't apply well to a bigger car. Thanks alot guys. Keep em comin.

    love the olds dash. Would be way easy to stash a stereo in that glove box. The lincoln wheel is killer. Ideas movin around in my head now. Thanks for the posts guys. Lets see more.

    Nothing like an original in my opinion. If you want some tips on restoring yours let me know, I've had good results on a few.

    Here are a couple pics of what I did on my 49 Ford this winter. It previously had a funky slab of aluminum under the dash with carpeted sides - the four small gauges were on it along with the light switch, and the stereo was mounted on the side right above the driver's shin (!). I wanted to keep with the theme of the dash, so I made a raised area with pods for the gauges.

    I think this is an early C10 steering wheel...'60...'61? Every C10 I see has a different steering wheel...always! Not sure why though? Anyhow...Get's lot's of compliments...doesn't look 'Truck' I guess?
