Hi, my name is kyle im fifteen years old. My dad is rand man. I live in Cherokee KS. I am a sophmore at southeast high school. I like to hunt, fish, trap,ride bmx, and work on cars with my dad. I like to weld,im on the welding team at my school.I want to be a certified welder when I get older. Last summer i welded a role cage in a 90 ford probe by my self. My dad races it in the dirt track front wheel drive class (I get to pack the track). I am curently working on an old school miny bike chopper. Me and my dad built my truck from the ground up out of three diferent trucks, its a 1972 chevy C/10 with a 350. We have put a few performance parts on it, incuding a 650 edelbrock carb, an edelbrock performer air gap, hedman headers, and dual exhaust. Now im helping my dad with his steel 27 Ford roadster, we are going to try to get it ready to race at the HAMB drags.

Hey i just went to a welding contest thursday. I placed 9th out of 140 other welders from ages 15 to 18.
Welcome little brother, I remember when I was 16 and I got my welding cert. Good on ya! Keep on plugin' Just remember to file the beveled edges even on that 100% pipe and take your time on the bottom weld. Oh yeah, I used a hacksaw to smooth the edges of my tacks after I ground them out, Practice, practice, practice. Good luck!
