It seriously won't be the same without you as I've never attended this event without my Omaha Chauffeur. Think about us over the weekend sweating our asses off in the Kansas humidity while you're sitting on the white sand beach with that cool pacific breeze in your hair. xoxox :p

That bums me out....I guess I'll have to wait till the HAMB Drags next month for my hug.

How about you stand between me and Megan in the picture this year....I'm sure that might take a year or two off your age.:D

A ladder would be great, thanks.

    :DYou're crazy and I love it!! xoxox:D

MEGAN!!!! Slim says you need to bring moonshine to Salina!!! How about some applepie???:D

  6. its only 9 days for those of us with road time:eek:

last year i roasted myself to death in the 1953 Chev:cool: so this year it is time to buy diesel and take the Duramax and pay for a little comfort
it also easier to haul more parts with a bigger machine!!!:D

I just talked to Jerry Titus and I guess there is SO MUCH response and preregistry for this show, that they have to limit the number of entries to ONLY CARS WITH WHITEWALLS. It's gonna be a drag and there will be some anger and confusion at the gate, but the KKOA is going to turn away cars without whitewalls..... Just a heads up.....

  10. Hey, Eugene Vik! An age filter won't be necessary! If you see how many are in the 2008 photo and how many are in the 2009 photo, they'll have to back up so far in the 2010 photo (using a ladder or not...) that no one will be able to see that you're only 32 years old...
Can't make it this year, since I'm already using up my vacation time (not to mention my truck isn't done yet). But since dad grew up in Salina, I'm makin' sure the truck will be done next year and I'm takin' dad with me to the meet in 2011!

In the flyer, it said ALL pre 69`s, and all post 70`s that are lowered and customized. Does that mean no 69`s and 70`s are eligible. I guess I got Wide whites so I`m in. HA HA.

That would be a great way to ruin a great show. Actually had to go look at past show pics and see what car wouldn't meet that kind of rule, wow its a lot of them!

What about name tags with your HAMB title on it for the meet and greet? It would be cool to see face to face just who the guy is on the other end of this HAMB.Yea I know goofy and most guys wouldn't do it (macho pride) so what! What do ya think ?????
