no thats the most i've ever seen, last year there wasn't that many but, i guess alot of guys must've liked em cuz they about tripled or more since last year...more of the nicer cars tomorrow.

I hate rat rods, the Leadsleds looked like tiny islands of reality in an ocean of diarrhea. For that it was worth the price of admission.

I think you guys are missing the point. The promoter of this show picks a category of car to showcase every year, and this year it just happened to be rat rods, so they were given free admission, a place up by the front gate, and some special bragging rights Saturday night on the Capital City Cruise in downtown Boise. There were over 900 cars at this show this year, and probably 800 of them cruised Boise Saturday night. For many years there was not a big show like this in Idaho and in only 8 years this has become THE premiere car show in Idaho. I didn't count but I would estimate there were 30 or so rat rods, out of 900 cars, so no they are not typical of the scene in Idaho. And while they are not really my style either, I walked through them and saw some really cool ideas and craftsmanship that the owners just decided to leave rusty instead of painting. I'll have to say, though, that even though I am a hot rod guy through and through, the American Hellriders Wall of Death motorcycle show was the most awesome thing I've seen in years! This is a great show.
