WOW! You sure do some SERIOUSLY clean work! Anyone who fully appreciates something other than a 350/350 "belly-button" should dig it as much as I do!
BTW, I'm diggin' the valve cover, looks like a TON of work went in on that to make it so nice! GOOD JOB!!!

Thanks guys, its been alot of fun and great learning experience. I will post a video sound bite when i get it running and dialed in. Here is a link to a youtube video that shows some more details and the dual exhaust routing.

I admire what you have done with the Straight eight. I am in the process of building a 1950 model for installation in my 1935 buick coupe. I noticed that you have kept the DynaFlow Transmission. I am considering a conversion to a 700R4 but would like to not have that expense.
Can you give me an idea as to dependability and ways to prevent leaks of the DynaFlow?

I would have loved to have dumped the dynaflow trans in favor of a 350 or 2004r trans, but there is only one guy that makes an adapter plate for the straight 8 to mate a late tranny to it. That would be Bendtsen adapters for a woppin $1000 bucks. So I just resealed it up the best I could for now, and we'll see how it goes. I have had great dependablity out of my Dynaflow, but other guys i've read about have not been successful at keeping them dry and leak free. i guess thats why they earned the nickname "Dynapuke"....

Any way that avoids Bendtsen's low quality crap is a better way.Regards, Ron

I second that emotion! I go to a lot of car shows and its mostly old farts like me! I'm always thrilled to see a young guy in the hobby and encourage all I can.

Great job on your detail work along with the conversion to the two deuce manifold.
I would love to hear what your engine sounds like with the new exhaust set up.
I have a 48 Buick that I am doing much the same as you have done. Still undecided on what to do about the exhaust.
I see you have a Mopar now....so don't stop posting pic's on your Buick!!
    Thanks..Dale
