Wow. It's been a long time since I posted anything on here. Here are a couple of very rough sketches that I'll be inking tomorrow for a local custom shop. If I get the final work done in time, I'll post that, too. I know these aren't HAMB friendly cars, but I though you might get a kick out of them anyway. Enjoy!

O.K. I'm up. Red Oklahoma mud, black octopus ink, mashed peas on canvas. Oh well, maybe I just used paint. Finished it right on time.

  9. Great work guys!

Nick over at Rawk-A-Hula Kustom Kouture went ahead and had some huge patches embroidered for their "road jackets". Size is over 12" in diameter.

Here's my version of James Hetfield's 1936 Auburn Boattail Speedster. Inspired by the Goodguys Gazette cover photo, this was drawn with Corel Draw and rendered with Photoshop for an upcoming Goodguys event shirt. I also added a little Photoshop background airbrushing and lettering to dress it up for the Friday Art Show.

  16. Okay, Kid are home from the drive-in, I'm ready to hit the sack but, no, I need to check out the art show first...
Everyones posting with both guns a blazin' so I gotta be a part of that.

For the second week in a row, I think my work killed the F.A.S. thread cause they both
got the boot within minutes of my Saturday posts. Here is a re=pop of an image I
drew back around 2003 or 04, Thabks to Gary C. for his prior graciosity...

Everyones work is el fuego cálido mucho!

  17. This ones from the 10 minute sketch department at 3:00am during crunch time.
Needs some tweaks but it's a good foundation for further exploration I think...

First time contributor. Here's a carving I did, it's 11x17", 2" Poplar wood. I did it in 3 layers. After creating the V8 symbol, I put a light on it to show where a drop shadow would be to create the 2nd layer then went deeper to create a 3rd layer base. First carving I've ever done, all hand tooled.
