OKay I admit it. I'm a newb to the old car game. I have never heard or ever seen a Zephyr 3 Window coupe until this classified ad:

    http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=487494&highlight=zephyr

Now I am absolutely in Love, and after ,my Merc is built. She's next on the bucket list. Gonna be awhile, but she's on it. .

So, who has a Zehyr 3 Window Coupe? What's thier price range? Pllllllease post some pics if you got them. None of that Glass shit. All steel, or no deal......

    Thanks

  2. I had a 37 three window about 15 years ago. I got the car from a guy in New Jersey. I paid 6,000.00 for it at the time. I restored it, it took me about three years. They are very hard to find parts for. I sold the car, I wished a thousand times I didnt. It help put my daughter thru collage. I see you live in Cal. You need to get in touch with Merv Adkins. He runs a Lincoln Zephyr parts business in Pomona. He has cars from time to time. His number is 909 224 8562. Nice guy give him a call. There is a club mag. call The Way of the Zephyr. You can go on line and find it. Hope ths will help you.

That car listed is Merv's and it's at his yard in Pomona. Don't worry Hrod, he'll get back to you. The number Flathead gave you is his cell and you'll get a faster response from that. Tell him Rich said to get the Vasoline ready for you!!. . . That Zephyr is probably the best 42' you'll find that needs restoration.

Here is a pic of our 39'.... You missed out though, I just sold a 37' and 38' Coupe

Zephyrs aren't cheap, I sold my rough 38' for 11k and when I say rough I mean rough! The 37' I sold for 24k which is complete, but is still a project.

They are my dream car as well.....

It will happen, oh yes, it will happen!!!

The 37 - 39 three window coupes are as good as it gets for me, unless its a similar year convertible!

  10. mmmm....Zephyrs. I have a 38 coupe. (and a 39 sedan).

Get your checkbook warmed up. They're not cheap. Expect to pay quite a bit more for a pre-40 than you would for a 40 on up.

One of the coolest cars ever. I have a buddy that is building a 40 3 window for himself and another buddy building a 37 3 window for a customer that is going to be unreal.

I have this one in the shop right now. Really rough but salvageable. My customer found this on in the Oklahoma desert. It will eventually be an electric 37. Mums the word on how much he paid for this... Ive seen finished cars go for what he paid...

I hate these cars with a passion because the steering box in my T is out of one. That means I have no hope in hell in the UK of ever getting parts for it to get the play out of it :D

My friend has a really good 41 lincoln zephyr cowl section and he might sell it. It is from the windshield posts forward to where the grill bolts on. No grill , fenders, hood. PM me if interested.

The front end on the '37 is too short. Should be streched out like the '38's and later. The later ones, '40 or '41s, the sail panels or whatever you call it, looks to thick.

Now, if you would have double dog dared ......... :)

the 4 doors are reletively cheap and common (and ugly), it is the 3 windows that are really hard to find.
