  5. wow, thank you all for the great response, glad you guys like it. Hot Rods and mountains is indeed a kinda special combination, but it works well... all those tunnels to drive through :D.

Yeah sure, he was there too with the 27 roadster! Still drives great, looks great, one of the coolest hot rods in our country.

Swedes are from Sweden. Swiss are from Switzerland.

Schöne Autos schönes Land. Vielen Dank.

The scene in Europe is getting bigger and better all the time. To put it into perspective what they are doing there, think of your toughest state inspection and vehicle laws and about triple them and that's a good start on what you have to go through to get those cars on the road there. Great pics.
Vielen Dank und sicheres Fahren von einem Landsmann.

Damn.... I watched that slide show 3 times. Absolutely beautiful scenery, ALL of it. The cars weren't bad either. What a great turnout.

thanks for sharing! love the scenery and the hot rods just add to it!

  26. thank you all for the nice comments!

Dankeschön  you're swiss? Our vehicle laws indeed are very strict. In some european countries it's even illegal to drive a modified car at all. But if there's a will there's a way ;)

What he said. It's a 1967 year model to be exact. It's based on the beetle's bigger cousin, the VW 1500S or type 3 (notchback, squareback...) and was never officially exported to the USA.

  27. What incredible photos, thanks for sharing those with us. :D Someday I've got to attend some European events, you sure know how to build "the finest Traditional Hot Rods", over there.
