Nope. "Schnitzer Superchargers" (not to be confused
with the somewhat similarly-named, but in reality, actually
much more 'Hamburger Helper-like', "Schnitzel Superchargers"
'imitation food' product.) were used on 1936 through
early-'47 Rash-Namblers....but never, ever, on any actual
Henways! This confusion and the many myths and 'old wives
tales' still making the rounds of the 'bench racer' and 'do-nut
shop' talk circuits about "some Henways" *allegedly*
and *supposedly* "coming from the factory, fitted with
    'Schnitzer Superchargers'
    ", stem from misconceptions,
misinformation and even some out-right nasty 'damned lies'
being circulated by *certain* disgruntled former Rash-Nambler
dealers,- still upset and angry, 63-odd years on, by the
way(!) - at Henway Motor's buy-out, shutdown and
liquidation of its hated arch-rival rival and main nemesis -
'Rash-Nambler Motor Car & Washing Machine Corporation',
    - back in May of 1947!!! Some guys and/or their estates, just
won't give up!! (Note - for more information and some
actual 'true facts' regarding the takeover and shutdown of
Rash-Nambler by Henway, see my post #164 in the HAMB
"Don't Shoot Me - Barn Find in Sweden" thread on this
    subject -

  6. I stand corrected, I would have sworn....

So didn't these schnitzer blowers take vw muffler bearings to convert them for street use?

I was dating the foxy Miss Erma Schnitzer when her dad was making these things. He offered to let me in on the patent rights, but Erma and I broke up before I could come up with the cash. No one did, I heard, and he closed up shop when the VW muffler bearings got too expensive.

You guys are a riot! Hahaha. To help the noob..... They are used mostly on BMWs. If you have a Z4 or a 330i lying around, it'll make it go ZOOOOOM!
