After selling parts and pieces to customers for a period of time it is nice to see the results of their hard work come to life. This week Terry Clark rolled in with his fresh on the street 32 coupe, built on a budget over 5 years. Car features 350 SB with 4 speed. New Age 32 body on Cornhusker chassis constructed in his garage, its not fully finished but getting there.
Nice job Dick, I have been building my steel 26 P/U with the black wheels and the black engine look too. Cab and bed are satin, engine and wheels glossy. Tell Terry to enjoy his ride.
For the love of Pete can we get one thread on this board anymore without someone knocking on someone's engine choice. Car looks great.
Great car ! Is that the powermaster gen/ alternator? I was thinking of buying one for the "look" now I am going to for sure.
Nope,,that ain't ever gonna happen. This car is proof to the nay sayers that a good looking traditional styled car can be built on a budget and use a glass body,,, Thank you Dick for posting a great looking customers car for us to enjoy! HRP
It must make you feel good to have a customer take the time to drive to your shop to show you his build. Love those early valve covers done like that..very cool look
Thank you for the picture Mr. Spadaro, I am never disappointed by your posts sir, that is an extra nice detail on the exhaust system on the mans ride. Not to be inconsiderate, please disregard my inquiry if I am considered rude, you mention a budget, if I may ask, what, roughly would that amount budgeted have been?
I'm not Dick or the owner of the car in question, but I do know that a man sets a limit he can afford,,or what he thinks he can afford each month. X number of dollars per month,,sometimes more,,sometimes less,,and 5 years. I built the wagon like that and I'm in my 8th year and still not on the road. HRP
HRP, theres been a lot of talk of building a nice hot rod on a budget, this is a fine example, not a lot of things have been compromised on this machine, and if they have, they have been artfully compensated for in form style and finish, therefore the question concerning the budget. I do understand that it may be none of my business. Thank You.
TOO COOL!! I was scannin new posts and saw my name. Terry Clark. (thats me) I thought, thats cool another hotrodder with my name And its a cool car to boot
Nice car, Thanks Dick for taking the time to post it and show us a car built on a budget in a home garage.
