Seems unlikely, with this recruiting method!

As a former MC member, I know the key is to have recruits WANT to be in the club, and prove themselves(prospects), not advertise for them.

no you dont have to be a gringo to be a member, the first dues are to buy the colors, witch are still in the process of being priced. the car has to be american and a hot rod, rat rod, gasser any of the good shit like that. email me or pm me for more details, alot of it is still in the process of being set.

te biggest reason im doing it like this is due t the fact that i am kinda chaperting it out from our original location in kansas, i am getting out of the army and want to keep it going when i get home. so if i can put the name out there and get some members going and wearing the colors you know, but as soon as he club becomes a little bit more etablished the joining process will be a little diffrent, and just because of this post doesnt mean that all people are going to be abe to wear the GL colors understood mr match.com

My Cars name is Grande Gringo , [ big Impala] I can't have a Gringo car and be in a Gringo club or people think I'M racist.

  20. Hey wow.
Ya gonna have a 3 piece patch like the real bad asses? Ya gonna piss on my skoady, or cut off or whatever the hell they call it these days?

Give me a break car clubs don't fly colors that's pretty much reserved for scooter trash. Car clubs traditionally have had jackets with the club logo on it.

No offense intended but it seems to me that if you are advertising for something which for all intents and purposes you are doing it should be in the classifieds not on the main board.

I've seen it both ways. There is a big club that started out west there somewhere that just uses MC, but some did use MCC although I can't come up with a name for one of the top of my head.

Oh and a flatty is what happens when the viagra wears off used to be a fatty now its a flatty.

Or else on this site it would be an old ford engine or about anything pre-valve in head.
But when you get right down to it most (but not all) of those could use a boost also.

BillyT don't expect constructive criticism here. It's ok, I've been through it a bunch myself. And yes, you do belong to a gang. The baddest gang around; the US Army. These sarcastic *#&^#% should be saluting you and helping you out rather than giving you a bunch of $hit.

Total respect and thanks for serving. But this is not about his military service. I have heard car clubs (mine included) getting shirts or jackets but when it becomes "colors" it gets to sounding gang like in my opinion.

once again i aplogize for calling it colors, just a back patch. so so sorry, no gang.

  27. Ya know I don't disrespect the fact that the young man served in the military and I do hope he makes it home if he isn't already here. Too many good men have given too much to satisfy the glutony of a select few.

Never the less he's trying to market his personal car club like it is a 1%er club. And in the midst of the sarcasm some of the older scooter bums have given him some very damned good advice, not that he wasn't already given good advice in his previous post.

If you are going to start a club even a club for bikers you don't just put out an advertisment like its the YMCA or something. You go out find like minded people and decide if they are what you want or not.

Give you an example, back I believe the '70s might have been the later '60s there was a fella who I was aquainted with that decided to start a bike club here in the mid-west. He hung a patch on everyone and anyone that could muster up the iniation fee. Ended up being the biggest bunch of loosers you ever wanted to meet up with. There were a few that had some shit about 'em but for the most part they were just wannabees. They eventually disbanded. The fella that started it made out OK because for him it was all about numbers the more there were the more he had to stick in the pocket of his chinos.

That's what I'm seing here is a fella willing to hang a patch on anyone who can come up with the bucks.

Flatty gave the kid good sound advice. Perhaps it will sink in.

Oh and by the way unless he's an officer it would be an insult to salute him.

Thanks for serving son. Hope you club thing works out alright for ya.

Billy T,Tell the mam be pambes to kiss your ass!You have the right as a American to assemble if its a club or a gang .Its great to be an American

  29. I can't believe it's come to this.

Personal opinion, the only car clubs running around these days that are worth a damn are the ones that never warranted THIS kind of effort. No recruting, no sign up sheet, no rushing to throw it together, just a like minded group of guys willing to do there part to help the club, and who EARNED their place within it. Guys are so hard up now to put a name on their back or "support" sticker on their window that they'll grab up the first set of guys willing to call themselves _______c.c. and pay for their apparel, so that they can immidiately hit the streets and protect that new found institution like it's their godamn bloodline! I don't recall every seeing a sign up sheat for the Beatniks or the Choppers.

Keep flying them military colors, this shouldn't be the way it's done.
