  1. My wife and I are in Austin for the day. Any suggestions on stuff we should see, or some things to do?

Get some love migas at the Mangnolia Cafe, you can thank me later. If I'm ever on death row, love migas and cornmeal pancakes will be on my last meal.

  6. Congress Street from the bats bridge to the antique district. Continental Club after dark.

    God I miss Austin

  7. Don't forget Mercury Charlie's. Lux Blue at Crushproof is a kool kat to visit too. If you have time... Gary Howard's place out near Georgetown.

The night life along 6TH street is great. Lots of live music and cold beer.

If you're cutting out in the morning, grab some breakfast tacos from Torchy's!

It sure as hell wasn't Stubb's. Man, that BBQ was so bad, it made me cry. :(

  14. Finding good bbq in Austin is like shooting fish in a bucket. I haven't found anything close out here in Denver. I cried tears of barbeque sauce when I left.

How about the Ironworks? I ate lunch there then went to a business meeting. When I walked in the lobby the receptionist smiled and said" Somebody ate lunch at the Ironworks."
