Don't forget Mercury Charlie's. Lux Blue at Crushproof is a kool kat to visit too. If you have time... Gary Howard's place out near Georgetown.
on my last Austin trip we ate at?.........cant remember the name but it was the best BBQ I ever had at a gas station.
Finding good bbq in Austin is like shooting fish in a bucket. I haven't found anything close out here in Denver. I cried tears of barbeque sauce when I left.
home slice has been mentioned... so try their margarita pizza... its soooo yummy!! austin is a blast!! the town is full of culture & probably some stuff you've never seen before!
How about the Ironworks? I ate lunch there then went to a business meeting. When I walked in the lobby the receptionist smiled and said" Somebody ate lunch at the Ironworks."
