Hey everyone, just thought some of you might enjoy the story & pics of my '29 roadster frame. Just happened to notice this one time while at my friend's farm. My friend said he bought the roadster when he was 15 ( he's almost 70 now ) and cruised it for a couple years, when his dad decided the engine would work great in their combine. Out went the banger and the body was cut up into pieces and thrown out. What a shame!! Then the rolling chassis was converted to a hay trailer. Anyway, when I told him I was collecting parts for a '29 roadster he said I could have the frame if I could take all the wood and crap off. Can't pass up free, right? It'll be cool to get the chassis back on the road and put a smile on my friend's face. Thanks

There's a wagon outside of my town with a barge box on it that appears from the road to be on a a Modal A frame.

Now do you really wanna go bustin' up that 'Heritage' of your's? Sure you do!

I scored a '32 (front) axle offa trailer this last weekend. Unfortunately the stubs have been welded up. I don't know if I can 'un-stitch' them but I'm gonna give it a go.

Best o' luck with your project Dukes.

looks like a lot of acres out there. I'd be searching the back 40 for the roadster! they didn't just put things in a can by the curb in the old days, they threw em in a pile somewhere on the property.
