It runs, I put new rings in it and a new reed valve, also went through the carb and adjusted the points. it runs good. there is a video of it running on this thread. I think it is on page 3

Ha Ha, exactly what I was thinking, that thing is cool!
Now you need to build a cool classic lawn service truck to hall it around and show it off.
People will not beleive it when you tell them the whole build idea started with the lawn mower;)

Yeah man... that is SO great.

I absolutely love the fact that so many people could look at that mower and talk the talk. Who knows how many people have seen it and said, "Man, wouldn't that thing be so cool flaked and chromed out." But no one steps up.

So along comes Moriarity and BANG. And everyone is thinking, "That could have been me." Well you know what? It wasn't you. :)

Does it have a uranium rod?

  16. With that nice, smooth paint job under the deck it's going to make it real easy to scrape all the grass clippings out of there and keep it clean! :D

Yeah, right! Like this thing will ever see a blade of grass!

Beautiful job, but I think the best compliment so far has been that no one has cried "OFF TOPIC"! :D

If all mowers were like that one, It would be traditional to mow as soon as we got out of the hotrod!

  29. My thoughts EXACTLY...you need some bubble in there or plexi..

That thing is awesome Mark..you got me thinking that anything you touch looks soo good..

I might start buying junk just to see it painted, flaked, striped and chromed.

got a pic of the chrome blade underneath??

    pretty neat alright.
