Hot Rods Got the 40 Coupe out for the first time since Oct!!

    Got it back running today, Open headers so it was a little loud!:D But I went up and down the street a couple of times with the new stance. Rides and looks Much better!

    Love that car Tom. I hope you bring it to Salina in 4 weeks. I'd get rid of that Missouri tag though. :D

    Thanks guys, chaddilac came by last week and got me motivated again by helping me tie up some loose ends and I just got it running again about 2 hours ago!

    Yea, someone took them off in the 70's. I wish they were on as well.

    Front has a 4" drop axle and new Superslide spring with a couple of leaves removed. The rear also has a new Superslide spring with leaves removed. Also new 6.00 rear tires and 5.40 fronts.

    I do, but this car is not tagged yet and has open headers. I may drive my Rambler wagon up there tonight.

    I think the fronts are 5.40 fronts and 6.00 rears which is stock size on the rears.

    Actually Its traded for a Roadster :eek: Got it back running to make the deal. VERY hard choice to do this trade, cause I love the 40 soooo much!:confused:

    Great car. I see you hadve the same problem I, and every other 40 owner, had with my 40. A few miserable hours of loosening and aligning and shimming and tightening and doing it again and my front sheet metal fit together very well, yours can too!
