A very well done conversion of a mid 20's Cadillac into a wrecker.....

Thanks T-Head. That makes sense. Double Spare tires made me think Locomobile but Stutz would of had them too. Looking at the body now, I can see Stutz. Maybe that's the A.K. Miller family posing. Not Likely.

Chevrolet Touring car from the Twenties, not sure of exact year. I'd guess around 1925.

New-York to Paris Race drivers arriving in NYC. The car they are riding in is a big chain drive Type I Locomobile. The race was some 22,000 miles long and was won by a Thomas Flyer made in Buffalo shown in the second photo.

The third photo shows it out west during the race. The car still exists and is in the National Auto Museum in Reno. Link to Wiki about the race below.

Here's one from the family album--I believe it's a '22ish T with Grandma at the wheel.

Cannuck-a family photo...you've been holding out on me. Neat photo. I wish I/we had more of our family.
Here are a couple. First a 1913 Cadillac with no windshield. Unusual looking that way. Nice looking family, huh?
The other is a 1913 Buick Model 25, just like in our family now.

Of the 3 competitors in the Great Race, the 3 finishers survive!
Not only the Thomas, but also the Zust and the Protos.

The other 3, the Motobloc, Sizaire-Naudin, and the De Dion Bouton, did not survive. Interestingly, all of them from France!

They made a new documentary about the race.
    It's very good.

The cutdown, which might simply be a demonstrator made up from a new chassis and a makeshift seat, is a 1st series (1916). The limousine is also 1st series. The trucks? I'll have to defer to the Packard truck experts, if we are lucky enough to have any following the thread. Can anyone tell what the seat is from? It's similar to one from a tulip bodied car, some other make.
