ECTA Maxton this weekend

This is the weekend for the standing mile @Maxton NC.. Laurinburg/Maxton airport.. $10 gets you in for both days!...It's gonna be hot as the hammers of hell, but this is the last meet til Sept. Bring some water,sunscreen, & a camera....Outrageous , fast cars of all descriptions...

 

I am working in N. Carolina at the moment and I am going to try and make it if we don't work sunday.. I looked at the web site and it looks like fun. TP

Its diffently worth the drive great people and cool as hell cars and bikes.

If you are going Sunday best to plan on early, meet usually starts winding down around noon, runs ending 2 ish or so. By then everyone has done what they came to do or broken the rig trying. Many long haulers have to head back early to get back for work Mon AM. Safe bet that with the predicted weather for this weekend everyone will be ready and looking for some A/C by then as well.

Always well worth the effort to attend, hard to find a greater variety of interesting iron or better group of people anywhere.

What motel do people stay at? I may go saturday after work and stay the night.

I think I'm going to try and go Sunday. I will have to leave at 4:30 AM to get there for start time which kinda sucks.
