Motion Pictures It is time for another Omaha DRIVE INN ...sat. June 26

Yep, that is right... The Omaha DRIVE INN.

Bring your chairs, we cant fit all the cars in front of the screen.

The movie will roll at about 9:30

I'm usually in bed by that hour Jeff, but I'll be there again!!! Where else can someone go, to watch a drive in movie in a back yard?

Will you be showing a double feature with coming attractions and a couple of cartoons? The Blob, Creature from the Black Lagoon, It came from Outer Space? Maybe a Roy Rodgers movie, so I can see ole Pat Brady in "Nellie Bell" again? No wait, "Nellie Bell" was only in the TV series. A Randolph Scott or Lash LaRue Western will do if you can find one in a DVD

Seriously, that was a good deal last year, very family oriented.

Also, those who do come, be sure to bring a can of OFF for mosquito's.

Ah yes, the good ole days, going to a indoor movie as a kid for .10, and going to a Drive In on Friday nights for a buck a car load.

 

Dallas, now that is the spirit. I havent settled on a movie yet. I like the three stooges trailer...

I have also been thinking about meeting up somewhere and making the drive out to Ashland for some BBQ at... Parkers Smokehouse.

Just a thought....

 

Hmmm...Then I'll all ready be at Parkers, waiting for the rest of you guys to get there.

Is this going to lead to a slumber party with breckfest in Fremont?

 

Want planning on serving breakfast, could probably serve up some of saturday nights popcorn. And, no, I dont think we will be staying over in Fremont....

 

Was thinking drive Inn movie and Fremont swap meet for brecfest around 6:00 am. Just messin with ya, Ill probably be in Fremont. Cal

I forgot about Fremont, this will be a good release from all the stress from all the swapping....

I missed the last one, and there is just a bunch of stuff going on this weekend, but I think I need to try and make this. Gary

 

I'll be in the Omaha area this weekend for a family function with the in-laws. Hopefully I can stop over after things die down in Valley.

 

Heck yes motor bikes are allowed! Going too far? now really, what is going too far?

 

Hopefully you guys can stop by, Beemer could get the long distance award comin all the way from Topeka.

 

Would a slightly O/T car be allowed ... '79 HURST/Olds ???

 

I'll take that as a challenge! We will try to make it. We will be out on the bikes all day and that's a perfect end to the ride.

Rob, glad to hear from you. If you dont make the bbq trip, feel free to stop by anytime before movie time. My wife will be here to keep the place open for those that dont make the trip and only want to make the movie.
