  3. Just got this info from Roger Lee about his top fueler:
Ran 205.94 mph at Fontana Drag City on 9-12-1964 which was the fastest speed ever recorded for the year ! This mph record was backed up with a 205.01 mph pass the same day. On 8-22-1964 at Fontana Drag City, Jim Brissette & Wild Bill Alexander ran one of the quickest passes for 1964 at 7.50 e.t. On 11-3-1964 at the Pomona Raceway, Brissette & Alexander was the first Top Fuel Dragster to break the track record and run the first pass over 200 mph at that drag strip at 200.01 mph.

  4. The pre-registration ended June 13th, but there's plenty of room to accomodate everyone at the show!! No worries, just cruise down July 3:rd and it'll be all right.
If you have any questions, please email me and i'll respond right away.

  5. We've got the legendary custom "The Bat-Mobile" attending the show.
Built back in 1958 in Vallejo, almost crushed in the 60's but has stayed alive....
Owner Paul Grillo has been it's caretaker since the 70's and the car is just a great piece of american custom car culture!!
It still sports the paint job that was done in '58!!

  6. Man, when i lived in SoCal everybody said the NorCal car scene was dead.....I hope that ain't the case ya'll, is it?

  7. I have a really really mild custom '56 Ford 4 door. Most people think it is stock. It looks stock. Would that be allowed in the show?

  8. Hey Mitchell. Where are you from dude??

  9. Here's another fun car coming to the show, an old '37 Chev. jalopy racer!
This car originally ran at Riverside Park in Agawam, Massachusetts (the track where Mike Joy started his announcing career). This car has been raced in vintage events on the east coast since the early nineties. The original car owner (Leo Matte) and drivers (Tony "Jap" Membrino and "Gentleman" Jack Lecuyer) are in the Hall of Fame back there.
