  1. "Right Coast" pinstriping artists Larry Hook( Rhode Island) is the finest I've seen. Jim "the painter " Philly was an inspiration to me. Glen Wiesgerber is the most creative and humble artist and friend. "Alex in Wonderland" ah "Unique" to say the least.Tom Vanorwick fine pinstriper and fine artist, try painting with one eye."Mid Coast"pinstriping artists Dave Hightower "The panel man" Great color theory and design. Larry Mitchell Super clean and crisp work.Don Boeke "The Egyptian" Good friend, but old, lol. all around great artist. Jack Lindenberger A real sign guy who has master ALL THE BRUSHES. Joe Broxterman a real car guy. "Left Coast" pinstriping artists Ed"Big Daddy" inspired me as a kid at a car show, a generous man of God,a gentleman who's work was accurate and symmetrical. Malicoat Fine art of pinstring. Jimmy C. keeping it real. UK Jon Lesson great friend and 3rd. generation painter. Finland Pekka great friend, artist, writer of his new book on " How to pinstripe" and "Arctic Pinhead . I don't know where to stop , but let me say there is no best. We're all just Brothers and Sisters of the brush having more fun than we should! Love you all. "Maintian" AJ

The last three I saw laying down lines. So many lengendary brushes it is to tough to choose. I am so in awe of these skills I bow to all of you blessed with the swinging of the sword!! I will give a shout out to local Omaha legends, Jim Curran and Richard Victor, master brushmen. Keep on stripin! ~sololobo~

I have to vote for Rody as well. If you get a chance to see Neal East's "resurected" Rocky Mountain Low, Rody did the striping. Everything about the car is the best of the best, and Rody's striping certainly fits into that category! The car did itself proud at it's first real outing to the Grand National this year. I wish someone had posted pics of it there for the rest of us to admire!

I am always in awe and could never pick three.
I will say my favorites are
    1) The stripers that help the beginners - answer their questions and give them tips.
    2) The kids that start, try and succeed to keep it alive.
    3) The pinstripers that sacrifice their time for charities when asked. In this time of so many short on cash, It was great to see so many talented artist in Chicago over the weekend giving their time and talent for charity.
    These are my favorites.

  27. Gonk!
    Oh yeah, wrong country. ;)
We have some good ones down here, and Oz, but Gonks my pick.
His main work is signage the old way, but he also does great airbrush work.
Hes been striping for years, and does a lot of old steam train/engine work at a theme park.
