Frame is back home, all welded up! Should be seeing primer and paint by midnight. Heres a picture of it at the weld shop getting worked on...
Charlie, Frame is looking great ! That was some really good news on the mill. Should push your rod around real good. Looking forward to more updates as you complete your build.
TO DO for tomorrow will be to throw another coat on the frame, rip front suspension apart to loctite and do final assembly on that. Then put that under the frame, along with bolting in a few nick nacks until I can tackle the rear end Monday. Bonneville is too close for comfort!!!!!!
Charlie, I didn't know that your plane was to head to B-Ville ! It has been on my "Bucket List" for a couple of years. I have an open invite to ride with one of my pals. Guess this should be the year.
Just picked up these goodies from the machine shop! Should be hearing my motor pop off in the next 2 weeks!
Quicky update with no pictures. Motor is in the midst of being built back up right now. I'm waiting to recieve some brake parts right now. Expect a shakedown run in the next 30 days!!!!!!
