WE aren't car experts but purchased a 1965 Buick Lesabre convertible. It needs fluid for the top. Where do we fill it? We can't seem to figure that out. Also what do you use to fill it?? Any help would be appreciated, Ralph Hibbard Jr & Sr

Thank you ATF is used, I still am not sure where to fill it though. Where is refill plug, unit is behind back seat. Acess through trunk or back seat? Or remove unit? Thanks in advance, Ralph

The pump has a small plug in the top, there's no real resevior to speak of. Some use brake fluid, so be careful. If it's low and fluid and won't operate, there's a reason. Bad seals in the pump, cylinders, busted hoses, etc. Genereally you can access it thru the trunk, it's under the top well cover. Buy yourself a shop manual for the car, it'll save a world of head scratch'n and ruining stuff. JMHO.
