Still not welding but thinking I should start drinking. After looking around I don't think there is many other options I was thinking blackwalls but I think your coupe has a surf/garage feel to it that I now like. I would definately get other sets of wheels because I have a problem with making up my mind. Plus I don't think I could keep tread on them. About the color red is most likely the best choice with the logo on the doors but you'll never know unless you experiment so paint them and see what happens.
48 Chevy you hit it right on the head -thats what I remember when I was a kid growing up in old town Covina CA,near Arrow hyw -a guy had a garage and gas station, I walked by it all the time Thanks to all for the great replies
C.man, well it seems to be a overwhelming choice that you have it nailed. I certainly agree and the car is smokin as is, when we have a ride for a while we are looking for a change it seems. But rest assured your fine ride is real right. ~Sololobo~
If you want a change, why not try ivory or what ever the color of the lettering is. It would bring out the lettering more and be different.
why not get a couple of sets, paint em the diffrent colours and change at will? although im another fan of the red.
Yep on the ass end up, then keep your wheels red, run blackwalls and lose the trim rings. I like the idea of several sets of wheels as well. Milktrucks, the steelies you have now, Hal solids on sprint tires, Radirs with piecrust slicks all would look good Steve
