    Hi mate,

How are ya? Yes I decided to put my coupe up for sale. I kinda lost the inspiration to put the Rocket Olds in. I've always been more of a motorcycle guy and I've got some motorcycle projects in the works. At this moment I'm not really looking for another car but I spotted this bitchin' 1953 Chevy Coupe. So who knows...

    Cheers, Rich.

it's about a dutch hambers gatherin,,
you can pm us for more info,,

Which Dutchman is going to buy this car? - saw it for sale in the classifieds here. How much is that in USD's? Just a curious Dutchman from Holland (Mich).

  7. 30.000 euros is about 34.000 us dollars.

Not many around in Holland and certainly not with 33 papers :D

  10. I will be surrounded by Dutchmen here in Canada at Zwicks Park car show. Sietse (Mike) Sietsma on one side with his 41 Willys Hemi gasser. (it's first car show since being put on the road last week) and Bob Bosma with his 63 Ford Galaxie on the other. And just to keep me in line, my wife (from the Peeck family) will be there as well. So from all of us to all of you in NL greetings and have a great day.
There are about 30% Dutchmen here where I live.

    Hello there.

    another dutch hamber here...

I don't have a rod or anything to mess up at the moment but just interested in the stuff.

still i have a question about lead loading and i can't find an answer with the search option....

i looked at a movie on youtube and a couple of articles but nobody warns (warning?) about overheating/warping.

At what temperature does metal warp or is it the rapid cooling that does the warping?

wow.. crickets, come on fellow Dutchmen, someone has to have something to say.

Life is good here, busy with business
building a cool hot-rod for myself Buidl thread for 1932 3-window coupe
With possibly an even cooler engine Seagrave v12 flathead thread

Kids are good, their Dutch pasports are underway.. yeah, life is good.

I've 'finally' finished my other project car (not hamb friendly I reckon, 1981 Ford Fiesta...)
Just started work on my 1928 Model A. I do have a Lincoln v12 flathead to go in, but that engine needs a lot of work.
So I just picked up a temporary powerplant, inline six out of a 1971 Mustang (250ci) complete with 3 speed manual toploader gearbox.

    Will post pics soon.

Left Amsterdam in Feb for a new job in Germany (Düsseldorf).
But the car is still on Dutch soil (Heerlen) and getting closer to finalization...so when there's ever a follow up gathering to the one we had at Eric's (farmer12) let me know, I'll try o be there.
    Enjoy your weekend

I'll be well up for a meet sometime this year.
Depends on when I get my car running / drivable, and to be fair it needs quite a bit doing still.
Aiming to have it registered this summer though.

    Hi all,

Another (new) dutch hamber here, my name is David, living in Culemborg,The Netherlands.
For a living I restore and paint cars, mostly american, and custom painting is what I really like to do.
My own project is a 1962 Dodge Dart Wagon, i'm going for the sixties dragrace look with it.
You can see some of my work at my blog: http://pricelesspaint.blogspot.com
