Anyone know if these are being made somewhere? I'm not looking for the plastic covers that you can get at truck shops, but an actual machined spiked lug nut as pictured. Thanks!

Thanks everyone. I tried the Lug Nut King, couldn't find anything. Might just have to look at having some made maybe.

As for them need a really long socket, that's a possibility, or a guy could also maybe use a crow foot socket.

Split a deep socket in half and weld the hex portion into a piece of tubing and the drive on the other end.

When did Deathrace 2000 become traditional?

OK, I'll say it. Those look fucking stupid. I worry enough about a child getting burnt on my headers, getting a calf ripped wide open on a spike would probably be no fun for you or the victim. Especially if it's a little child at a public show.

Please don't. Those are fucking horrible. Although guys will dig them on the rat rod sites. Not even close to traditional, and no, nobody said they were supposed to be.

    Barf!

Id check with Madmax.I know some of the cars he was racing had them on them. They were pretty effective at cutting the other guys wheels off.

  24. Those would look really cool with an apple or some other fruit stuck on each spike.

Nah, they look fruity enough, just like they are...

  25. Or maybe a doll's head impaled on them...?

Better yet, how about one of those "cry baby dolls"????

    This plan has merit...

Hey kirk and wicked50coupe, is the F word totally necessary to get your feelings across?

I do agree they are a bit dangerous and possably r-rodish, but with small rounded points i think they would look ok. I have seen pointed hubcaps as well as spider caps on many a ride.
