violent noise

    got a 51 3100 chevy truck with camero front clip I have a real bad voilet squeek from front end when hit bumps in the road but it 's gone when it rains any answers ?

    could be a shock, does it make the noise if you just bounce the truck by hand while its sitting still?

    If you have urathane bushings they squeek like hell. Get under there and blast WD40 on all the bushings and see if that helps?

    silicone spray would be better wont attract the dust like the oil based lubricants.

    I had a concerning suspension squeak in the back end of my late model daily a few months ago. Similar in that it would go away during/after rain or after a car wash. Turned out to be the bushings that mounted the sway bar; I lubed them up (silicone spray) and they've been quiet since.

    FWIW, my dad and I diagnosed the source of the noise by putting the car on jackstands (to the subframes, not the suspension), then he jacked each rear tire up/down individually while I listened for the noise. Once I had a hunch that it was the sway bar bushings, I put a finger on each while he jacked the tire and I could feel the source of the noise to confirm.

    thanks to all I think I've found it ! I'ts the anti roll bar were it fits to the A arm on the two rubber dounuts now I've found it It's a easy fix
