I gotta tell you, it's refreshing to see someone that has spent the time in the old magazines and books to really see what and how crude ( to todays standards) things where done. Back in those days, all of the guys that I grew up around back in Sodville Iowa practiced Form & Function and the K.I.S.S. method. I tip my hat to you brother for staying the course !

I have had a ticking sound at idle ,and went away under load. Went down and pulled the motor this morning and found a small crack in the flexplate I hit it with a hammer so I could see the crack a little better. Also Jripper and Kirk helped me roll a roof skin out of aluminum the other day, and I pic of the generator mount It was on the motor when I got it so I know nothing about it.<p>

Did you cut that big hole in the roof or did a previous owner do it? Seems like to much wind would get in, mess your hair up and make it hard to hear the radio.. I don't blame you for trying to fill it in.. I think that I am starting to like the 5 window model A's more than 3 windows!! Also: Too high Too chopped Unchannelled cars are ugly & the shifter should be outside the drivers door... Other than that I guess it looks pretty good...
