Want to start my weekend by thanking all who have made it possible with their sacrifice and putting themselves in harms way. Never forget.

Thanks from me too. I'm a Canuk, eh. "Yank bashing" is still a popular sport among some left- wing media weenies up here, always infuriates me. The world would be a very different place without America's respect for freedom and military might.
As a vet and a military retiree I appreciate you thanks. However, PLEASE REMEMBER, Memorial Day is about those who never came home and gave their last full measure for this country. Vetrans days is for folks like me. So as you sip your beer and eat that burger remember the cost and ultimate sacrifice that has been made by those who died serving our country. Todd
Agree with Tugmaster. I myself am a veteran and I can never fully appreciate or understand the full meaning of sacrifice like those who did not return and their families. Please shake the hand, give a hug, or just recognize some family member who also "served" along side their family members and our heros. God Bless and Deus Clypus Meus

Just as a point of order,... (yeah, I know,.. I'm a old wet blanket) Memorial Day is set aside for those that gave there life's in defense of our Nation. Veterans day is set aside for those that have served,.... With that said,.... This year, like in years gone by,... I will remember some faces, names, smiles, jokes, tears, etc. of those that will forever remain young in our hearts and minds,..... For all that have given the greatest sacrifice in defense of THE GREATEST NATION ON EARTH (IMHO). A most heart felt, and humble Thank You from the bottom of my heart, your sacrifice was not in vein,... (this point is amplified as I look around at my family, My Wife, My Children,... and my Grandson) We will always remember that Freedom is not free,.... and you were willing to pay the price. GOD Bless you all! Paid in full ! This "Tough lil' Marine" knows first hand the price of Freedom,.... Please remember this, This weekend,... Least we forget ,.....
