I am looking at tire types for my 62 Galaxie and I want some opinions. I want to run Spyder caps and trim rings on steel wheels. The car will be dark blue and the wheels will be body color or black. I am trying to decide if blackwalls or thin whites will look better. Body color or black wheels? Does anyone have pics of this setup? These are my wheels now.

Drag car look or cruiser look? Unless you are shooting for a hard core drag car look I'd run white walls. But proper for that year of car and not real wide ones.

It will definitely be a cruiser. It is lowered 2" and much of the trim will be left off.

Thin was in in 62-63 followed by chrome reversed wheels and black walls with raised white or gold letters.
