I am in the process of converting my model A to 12V negative ground. I have copies of all of the popular guides however they all either recommend switching to an alternator or if using the generator are silent on how to wire the voltage regulator, which is my problem. The voltage regulator has three terminals: Armature, Field, & Battery. The model A generator (mine has been converted with 12V field coils and cut out removed) only has one post to wire to.

Any help on how to wire this sucker before I burn the place down would be greatly appreciated:D.

    Thanks!

Thanks Slick. I saw this link on an earlier post and thought it looked a bit pricey. I was hoping someone might have some suggestions. Maybe modify the A generator, to add a second post for the field connection. Has anyone tried this?
