The town is already FLOODED with hotrods! I just cruised Broadway and the Santa Maria Inn parking lot was full, as were many of the small motels.

This show is gonna be good guys! Enjoy the roadtrip.

Well we will see you there. I'm rollin around in the back seat...Ridin with Kustom Buick and Cousin Steve. We made to Gilroy through a long day of hail and rain in this Sunny Cali. We only saw one other car but it must of bin broke 'cause it was on a trailer.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in the mourning. Gotta go cause the little girl I kicked off the motel cumputer is going to get her dad.

I didn't get to meet all a y'all as we arrived just before departure and stayed mostly at the back of the train, but was real happy with the caravan down- thanks for organizing it. It is so much nicer traveling in a group.

The caravan turned out real good... I'm glad you liked the pictures, I thought that the one showing to line of cars making a slight turn came out good...
Tommy V needed to gas up so we stopped at the Wild Horse truck stop just south of King city...
It has a nice set up, lots of parking, a store and restaurant and is just a half a tank to Santa Maria from there. Also I didn't feel good about spending any of my money in Paso.. I plan to caravan again next year. Hopefully in the Roadster...

While we were gassing up in Paso I had a local- in the nicest possible way- ask me where we were headed.

I had to fill him in...

The funniest thing was cruisin down Spring Street. All and I mean ALL of the little motels were empty. I used to stay at the Travel Lodge Inn and there was no one there. There were some of the motel people outside and they just stared at us as we rolled through low ans slow. They watched their $$ cruise down the street.

Denise, Next time you and Megan come to SM, fly to Nor-Cal and you girls can cruise down with us......
