Can anyone ID this front clip?

Found this out in the woods down a 4-by trail the other day. The fenders are completely rust free and in pretty good shape. The chrome is all there, but some of it is useable and some is junk, about 50-50. Someone mentioned to me it might be an early 50s Chevy?
