Bare bones and bad ass! Cool car. A tad too high for my taste, but I dig it!!! I really appreciate the way the safety features are incorporated into the build without detracting from the period look. It seems there's been a rash of nasty wrecks as of late involving Rods, and quite a few good people have been hurt because they didn't want things like seat belts and roll bars to interfere with the "look" of their rides. My hat's off to you for building a fantastic ride that not only looks absolutely bitchin, but also includes a level of personal responsibility that seems to be lacking in our hobby.
No its sprayed. it is 2 coats of omni single stage over red oxide rattle can. then I hit with a scotch brite pad and rubbing compound, 8 hours after I painted it. I still need to buff it.
I think the height is perfect! I really like that 40's style of hotrods. I also like that it is a car you can rip around anywhere in. If you want to take it up a dirt road you do not have to worry about rippin the guts out of your car. Looks like a lot fun! Nice Job!
Badass!!! Dude I love the coupes when they are chopped and not channeled. But wtf is up with the Laverne and Shirley pic of you and Kirk?
