return gas line for mdl a tank??

im running the stock mdl a tank, with a stock mechanical gm fuel pump with three nipples.. should i worry about having the return going back to the tank? if so whats the easiest way? if not is capping it off at the pump the best?

get a different pump.

 

As said above, get a different pump. I don't think you can just plug of the return line on that pump.

You don't need a return line, your tank is vented by the cap.

 

hmmm i will look into a different pump. its for a buick 455 if that helps.
