Guys, it seems that I am headed your way. I still don't have any idea where I might be living, yet. Let's just assume it doesn't have a garage, though. There don't seem to be any, in the city at least... Anybody have any advice or leads. A guy to talk to... A guy who knows a guy... Whatever you got. My junk is going in a truck in a matter of weeks. So, I am in need of a place to put it when I land. An actual workshop space, with electric, would be great. One car project, associated tools, random parts and stuff need to fit in it. Whatever it is. Does that exist in or close to Philly? Am I out of my head?
When you get here look up Mikes tree service ,He rents garages .I dont know If he has any available .But its worth a shot.As long as there inside hes ok with it....
words of advice: when you get here stay torwards the Northeast. You'll understand why when you drive around. There are plenty of garages around. Not many shops, but tons of 1 or 2 cars garages for rent. Prices and utilities vary. Try searching the classifieds in the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Daily News. (local newspapers)
PM me your info and I can pass it on to a couple buddies who have spaces in Philly. I'm not sure if they have space to sublet out but I can ask for you. I'm just over in South Jersey and space is plentiful.
