Gorgeous! God I wanna have a Hudson one day!!! Absolutely beautiful lines and styling. I sat and drooled over a pair of Hudsons at the Wisconsin Automotive Museum for about an hour. Saw a Hornet in a 4th of July parade in the small town where I live about 8 years ago and it blew my mind.

    Enough gushing...

That is in my top five of all time favorite cars. I like the more door every bit as much as the two door on these too. That car just has a perfect look to it. Other than interior that you mentioned, it's spot on. I'm jealous.

  7. mmmm....I love me some Hudson.

Nice looking rig there, just the right amount of character.

Congratulations, and welcome to the club!

I like the antenna, in the middle of the windshield. Does it flip up?
Must have a knob on the inside, yes?

You should have a day off and go to lunch more often, !! ...thats a great looking score. Sounds like a good solid car, nice patina.

I have many people asking if my custom Hudson is a Merc!!!and I use a similar response "The Merc guys just worked hard to make it look like a Hudson"

They do look good(even better?) with a chopped top.

Damn Paul, that is cool. You know, sometimes we forget how functional a good old car can be. That is one nice car.

That is a great car! where are all the "but its a four door" posts?

  20. Unnecessary with a Hudson- they are one of the great exceptions to that line of thinking (or lack of thinking):D

Thank you for all the nice comments. I drove the car again today and enjoyed it. Everyone seems to like it that sees it.

    Great Score!

My grandpa had a 46 Super Six that he bought new. Dad ended up rolling it in 49 and they bought a new Dodge Cornet. All I ever seen of the Hudson was a picture of my Dad standing by it.

I knew where several of those Hudsons were sitting around here when I was a teenager but they are all gone now.
