There was, from what I remember, a model a p/u at the Santa Maria show two years ago that had drilled holes in various brackets, front spring perch, etc. His hole designs reminded me of pinstriping. Dumb me, I forgot to take pics. Does anyone have pics of that car?

That's an excellent question! I used to carry an aluminum ladder on top of my truck that would scream as I drove down the road. I had to fill the rungs with foam to make it quit. Now I'm questioning whether I want to put holes in my project or not.

So how about it you holey rollers? Ever had your holes whistle?

What is, "chain drilling?" I've never heard of it.

Pretty sure he means, drilling a series of small holes around the perimeter of a larger hole or shape, which are then (typically) sawed-between to rough out the larger hole or shape...kinda like links of a chain...

This is gorgeous! How did you separate the lines between the black and white paint so cleanly and precisely?

one of my fuse blocks, I wasn't sure how many holes would show so i drilled the entire thing, used the DRO on the old Index machine. .700 centers. picked a hole and .700 for each hole except where the mounting screws had to go. Just decided to drill it at the last minute. :D
