Well I did it my 56 chevy gasser is green

I didn't think you could paint a race car green, but you certainly did! And it looks really good!

 

Ok you stepped out there and hit a home run! Now you gotta do a big adjective with the name:
GRASS ROOTS GASSER

How about "Leap'n Leprechaun" or "Mad Leprechaun" in gold leaf with a four leaf clover, or a ghost image of Benjamin Franklin from a hundred dollar bill in the center of the door and call it "Bad Benjamin".
Tint the head lights red and call it "The Dragon Delray" or "Delray Dragon"

 

Nice paint job! My dad painted a kandy green 57 in the early 80's named "Poison Ivy"...it was a neat car and had a good song to go with...

That looks like the same color they used on the amsoil 52 belair. Bet it looks awsome in the sun.

Damn that looks good, someday I will have a car with paint like that. Could call it "APPLE KRATE" like the bicycle, but those were red huh....."SOUR SISTER"s a good one too I 2nd that motion. With a green like that, ONLY gold or silver leaf lettering will do.

This could be a close color match.

I just love cartoon themed cars, big letters down the side spell 60's Gasser. Can't wait to see this one rolling out!

 

It is a bold step into that color, very nice, be careful with choices on the rest of the build, I would say you almost have to go Green and white on interior, maybe white rolled with green piping or orange, might sound crazy but orange compliments this green. I have already checked on the Zodiac metalflakes available and no orange. I am doing my 49 in that theme. Tri-five gassers are extreme, your car should come out as an outstanding build. . Butch - You the Man!!!!! That green is the perfect choice. Now all that is missing is a set of 15" Hilborn straight stacks sticking out of the hood. They need to be tall enough it is a bitch to see around them. You know what I mean. Make to where it scares the hell out of the general public when you roll down the street. And on the strip with this car - do a big hairy burnout and I garantee at least 50% of the cars you run will red light!!! Case closed. Green and mean is cool. BTW Do you remember Hank Greenleaf and his green blown Chevy II years ago in Wichita? It was a terror on the strip.
